BIAS In Our Political System
siahub Perhaps, as a result of some with the atrocities, in recent years, against, people of color, as well as the attitude, actions, and different treatment, given, the definition of, systemic racism, is now, far – more, widespread! Unfortunately, nowadays, many believe, long – standing, fears, and hatred, and BIAS, continues to be enabled, because of the rhetorics, action, and attitude, on the former President, other members of his political party, as well as the now – existing, make up, individuals Court System, etc. If, hopefully you like to remain, the beacon – of – light, to your rest from the world, regarding, democracy, freedoms, and rights, we’ve got to, now, now, do, everything, possible, to treat these challenges to, that which you have considered, as our Constitutional guarantees, specifically, the queue, with liberty and justice for everyone! With, that planned, this article attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, while using the mnemonic approach, how this works and represents, and why it matters.
- Benefits; beliefs; best/ better; belonging; bigotry: Since, our inception, many Americans, felt, the inherent benefits, stated in our Constitution, were the main element to our national identity, etc! Although, unfortunately, we have now often, witnessed, bigotry, rear – its – ugly – head, we believed, the Courts, would protect these! However, together with the change, created with the political manipulation, from the last – number of years, few feel confident, standing, Supreme Court rulings, along with the ensuing laws, for instance, Roe v Wade, are under – attack! We are witnessing, an unsafe degree of hate crimes, including, against, people of color, antisemitism, women’s rights, etc, clearly, on – the – rise! Instead of elected officials, wanting to do the most beautiful to make things better, lots of, have focused, on the personal/ political agenda, and/ or, self – interests, instead of, enhancing, the emotions, of belonging, to any or all our citizens. When bias, bigotry, prejudice, and hatred, are permitted, we risk these, becoming the revolutionary – normal!
- Integrity; ideology/ ideals; insights; issues: Many studies indicate, Americans now hold, the Supreme Court, at its lowest, a higher level esteem, etc, in recent memory! The integrity of a number of the Justices, along with the apparent willingness of some, to exchange, long – held, American ideals, and policies, using personal/ political ideals, and agenda, are dangerous to the present nation’s future! We need issues, which, challenge, our give attention to human rights, and equality, to, be replaced, by higher ideals, and insights, which consider, not merely, populism, nevertheless the sustainable, long run, future and ramifications, etc!
- Attitude; aptitude; attention; articulate: The politics of negativism, and polarization, have to be replaced, through an attitude, of realistic, positive, can – do, solutions – oriented, actions, etc! Unfortunately, this indicates, a great number of elected officials, appear to lack the aptitude, and skill – set, for this! Unless/ until, voters set out to pay keen attention, and understand, articulating messages, aimed at hatred, bigotry, and division, are, counter – productive, towards the national wellbeing, we risk, losing our national identity, forever!
- Systemic; system; solutions; serving: Those protecting a method, of systemic racism, etc, are, serving the self – interests from the haters, and opposing, the United States, states be, all – about! It is past – time, for well – considered, viable solutions, being, the core ideology, etc!
Wake up, America, and quit permitting, BIAS, for being, normalized! We must accomplish that, sooner, as an alternative to later!
